ROLE: ILLUSTRATOR

MongoDB is a popular NoSQL database used by major tech companies for storing structured, semistructured, and unstructured data.

I was contracted to create custom illustrations that translated complex technical ideas into clear, friendly visuals. The focus was to maintain MongoDB's flexible illustration style and visual language that could scale across global digital and print touchpoints—making a highly technical product feel more human, approachable, and engaging. These illustrations are now used globally across the company.

For MongoDB.local London 2024 — MongoDB's largest regional conference — I was brought on as an illustrator and designer to create a suite of graphics and signage for the event. The signage brought the MongoBD brand to life for a global audience, weaving in cheeky nods to English culture to ground the experience in its London setting. The work helped set the tone for a one-day conference connecting developers, architects, and tech leaders with MongoDB experts from around the world.
